EMPOWER CLINIC STUDY
The EMPOWER study is a retrospective chart review of a cohort of women being treated at the EMPOWER Clinic who have experienced sex trafficking, sexual violence, and/or genital cutting. The primary objective of this study is to estimate the prevalence of unintended pregnancy among enrolled women.

Estimate prevalence of: STIs, cervical dysplasia, medical diagnoses (hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorder, cancer), major psychiatric diagnoses (major depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and PTSD);
Estimate the incidence of adverse obstetrical outcomes;
Evaluate contraceptive choices and use.
